Autonomous Business Management · ABM

The scope of ERP, the ease of autonomous management

ABM (Autonomous Business Management) is the Factorbooks product family that keeps and extends the ERP module catalog. In the ABM packages, general accounting and tax management run on the autonomous model, the number of users is unlimited, and the platform runs in a private cloud or on your own infrastructure.

What does "autonomous" mean here?

Autonomous business management is a way of working in which data is entered once at the source, process steps are connected on the same platform and repetitive work is carried out by the system. The Factorbooks product scope list defines this approach most clearly in accounting and tax:

  • General Accounting Management: Classic Accounting Management in ERP; autonomous Accounting Management in ABM.
  • Tax Management: Classic Tax Management in ERP; autonomous Tax Management in ABM.

Factorbooks' autonomous accounting capabilities automatically record the accounting entries that arise from commercial and financial transactions, in line with the Turkish uniform chart of accounts. The chart of accounts, trial balance, balance sheet, financial statements and tax returns can be viewed in real time in the application. Explore the platform capabilities.

Autonomous management does not mean giving up control. Steps that need approval stay with authorized people, and transactions remain traceable. In a live demo, we show which entries autonomous accounting and tax management handle, and how, using your own processes.

How does autonomous management work?

Data, process, rules, control and results in five steps. The related Factorbooks features are listed under each step.

  1. Data and transactions

Sales, purchasing, inventory, banking and personnel transactions are recorded once, in the relevant modules.

  2. Integrated workflows

From order to shipment and from e-document to collection, each step moves between modules on the same platform.

  3. Rules and autonomous management

Rules such as price lists and discount definitions are kept in the system. In the ABM packages, accounting and tax management run on the autonomous model.

  4. Controls and approvals

Transactions that need approval are routed to authorized people; steps that require human review stay defined.

  5. Traceable results

Management tracks results with KPI dashboards and reports, and canceled transactions are listed separately.

ERP vs. ABM

ABM does not replace ERP; it offers the same module catalog with a broader scope and the autonomous accounting and tax model.
